On Sunday, October 7, 2018 a piano popped up in Audubon Park. Why? Lafargue’s Piano Let’s Play Nola! Campaign. The goal is to show everyone they can not only have fun spectating, but also participate in making music – and it is easier than they think.
I took a turn playing “Just a Closer Walk with Thee” and “One More Day.”
Playing the piano, for me, has been stress reliving, keeping me grounded and keeping me close to God. I encourage everyone to learn to play an instrument – it really is easier than you think!
