Just a short update…

For those who keep up and read my blog, things may seem kind of slow lately. But I want to assure you they are not so! I have been extremely busy with church and an organization that that I have been working with.

Church has been good! Planning Lent has taken up a lot of time and rightfully so, its one of the biggest seasons in the church year. We are still growing and settling into our new home and this will be our first Easter Sunday service here, and WE ARE EXCITED!!! The choir has been preparing, decorations have been being delivered, we just need YOU to join us!!

Whew! That out of the way 🙂

New Orleans Pride… I had the privilege to meet the Directors of New Orleans Pride last year (2013) at Family Day where our church had a booth. Jason and I have become dear friends with them and have been working closer with the organization. As MCC New Orleans we are looking forward to family day and the pride parade, but as Ryan, I am truly excited to work this closely with the Directors in helping plan events and participating with the organization. This has truly been an amazing experience for me, getting to know the organization and people, and developing these awesome relationships.
