Christmas With A Piano, exactly where the title came from… Im not sure. However what sparked my interest in the idea was playing for the New Orleans Pride AIDS Awareness & Winter Wonderland event. I found this arrangement by Felix Bernard & Dick Smith and began working my own touches into it. This was the best part, being able to take an arrangement, which was great already! and add in the Ryan touch.
Many people over the past few years have encouraged and asked for a christmas cd, and for some reason have never recorded one. This year, for some reason, I felt like doing one. Of course, it’s too late to go to a studio, record some music and have cds available but instead I decided to work in my home studio, record some songs and post them to youtube and my Facebook page. I think that next year I just might publish a cd.
