There have been some talks, but.. I may have a new opportunity coming soon. A church in the New Orleans area has asked if I would be interested in doing an Interim Music Director position. The task would be to overhaul the current music department, bring in new music, singers, and musicians to prepare them for the next full time music director. It would be alot of work, but I’m getting excited!
Update:
A lot has happened since this post was written. The previous music director, whose position I would have taken over has decided to stay. So the offer was withdrawn. A lot of people were and still are disappointed in the panning out of events, but when God closes one door another one is opened.
